Campaign Console Table

Campaign Console Table

Campaign Console Table

This attractive console-cum-hall table design from the attractive "Campaign" styling is not held in stock - Code AA26 - but may be customer ordered in this size or in the shorter/deeper dimensions of H74 x W 130 x D60cms - Code AA26A. And if neither of these dimensions quite suits your space please get in touch with your preferred dimensions for a custom build quotation.
The "Campaign" designs are from the period of the Peninsular wars (ending in 1814) when England and France battled in Spain, initially fighting against the Spaniards as well until Napoleon upset their King and gave the Spanish throne to his brother. The Campaign style was the design favoured by the army officers with the metal bindings giving strength to what were essentially "portable chests and tables" with handle and lock hardware inset so that it would not be damaged while being transported. Probably tables had demountable legs for ease of transport in drays and carts. A table like this would have been used for dining and map reading. A very practical and strong set of designs!

Custom made is our speciality - Any size, any finish, any design alterations
